Insiders who know her describe the former Hawaii surfer girl (born in Samoa) as a ruthlessly ambitious opportunist “with no moral compass” who is drawn to power like a moth to a flame (read story here).
Although she was elected to Congress as a Democrat, in retrospect, it appears she only pretended to be one, because Republicans can’t get elected there.
These days she’s a hardcore Trumper, whom he has nominated to be America’s spymaster, a job for which she has no qualifications whatsoever.
Gabbard has been criticized in both parties for cozying up to Syria’s now-deposed bloody dictator (which led one of her staffers to tell her, “You f–ked us”). She seems to like Putin a lot, too.
Hillary Clinton famously called her a “Russian asset,” but that’s probably not accurate. Gabbard’s loyalty lies elsewhere. She’s a member of a David Koresh-like cult (details here) whose guru demands absolute loyalty and obedience, and doesn’t tolerate dissent.
The Atlantic says he “remains mostly unknown outside Hawaii but is reputed to have a powerful hold over his followers.” A defector from his cult says, “He always wanted someone to be high up in the federal government” to spread his influence. Another defector said of Gabbard, “She’s his loyal servant.”
Watch out for surfer girls. They may not be what they seem, or want you to think they are.
