Rep. Tom Rice (R-SC; photo below, bio here) criticized Trump, calling him a “would-be tyrant,” which he obviously is, after Trump attacked him during a rally in South Carolina on Saturday, March, 12, 2022.
Trump called Rice a “disaster” and “total fool” for voting to impeach him for inciting the Capitol riot, and endorsed his primary opponent, The Hill says (read story here). Rice fired back, calling Trump “consumed by spite,” which he obviously is.
On Sunday, Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) backed Rice, tweeting, “Our country needs Republicans to be sane, responsible, and speak the truth” (see story here).
Fine, I agree, but where will we get them? Not from this Republican Party.
