The Forbes “Under-30” list of crooks

They all were touted by Forbes magazine as up-and-coming young entrepreneurs. They’re now convicted or facing charges.

What they have in common is they’re slick hustlers. As another young entrepreneur who isn’t under investigation noted, “The Forbes ’30 Under 30′ have collectively raised $5.3B in funding,” and “been arrested for frauds and scams worth over $18.5B.”

The Guardian says, “The problem here isn’t Forbes,” but rather “pressure to achieve great things before youth slips away” that leads “certain ambitious people to take shortcuts.”

Well, they can explain it that way, but no one makes them be white collar criminals. Crooks consciously decide to be crooks. Read story here.
