It’s been awhile since we’ve heard any news about two big world-attention-grabbing searches, so let’s see if these cases are any closer to being solved.
Supreme Court leaker: The Wall Street Journal reports Supreme Court investigators have whittled down the list of suspects to “a small number” of people which includes law clerks (WSJ’s story is paywalled, so read about it here); which, if I remember correctly, is where things stood before. Personally, I suspect Justice Alito leaked it himself, but we’ll see.
MH370: As you know, debris from the missing Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 washed up on beaches, leaving no doubt the plane crashed in the Indian Ocean. The last search was conducted in 2018 by a private company, Ocean Infinity, but they’re planning to have another go in 2023 or 2024, this time with purpose-built unmanned robotic ships that don’t need to make port calls for crew supplies (read story here).
