It’s a private boarding school for the male offspring of Britain’s ultra-elite. Founded by a king, it’s the world’s most famous prep school. BBC calls it “the school that rules Britain” (read article here), a Russian website describes it as a “factory of gentlemen” (read article here), and Wikipedia says “Eton has educated prime ministers, world leaders, Nobel laureates, Academy Award- and BAFTA award-winning actors, and generations of the aristocracy … [as] ‘the chief nurse of England’s statesmen'” (read article here). It all seems so very snobbish.
