A great story! I am not sure if there is a word in English for this but in Hebrew the word id “mitzvah.” A deed you do because it is the right thing, no reward, no attaboys. Attaboy, Chris.

So I stop at Fred Meyer on my way home and on the back road I see two women with a tiny flashlight rummaging in the trunk of a car and I notice that the front tire is flat. I stop with my lights on the car, put on my flashers and proceed to change their tire. When I’m done one of them tries to give me $20 and I say “No thanks, I’m good, but next time you see someone who needs help, help them out”. I do my shopping and on my way home I see them again pulled over with their hood open and another car also with its hood open. I stop again and get out and ask what’s going on. They tell me that they only made it two blocks when they noticed this man whose battery was dead, so they were repaying the favor by stopping to give him a jump. Pretty cool.
