I am closely monitoring developments. The country will be in very deep s— if Duterte is indeed the new President! And his high poll ratings is another story altogether, a cautionary tale of mind conditioning that he is the front runner when he does not have the political machinery on the ground to even have poll watchers in the tens of thousands of precincts all over the country

Filipinos voted Monday in a race whose front-runner is Rodrigo Duterte, known for his sex jokes and promise to end corruption within six months.

If Rodrigo Duterte, is leading, that means a Maoist terrorist connection is indeed there – they have this extortion activities called “Permit to campaign fees” for candidates to campaign in the rural areas where the NPA operate.
A simple search in YouTube will confirm that in at least one instance, Rodrigo Duterte said “Long Live the NPA” NPA is the communist New People’s Army, the longest running communist insurgency in the world with the head, Jose Ma. Sison – who now denies endorsing any candidate – in self exile in the Netherlands and head of the National Democratic Front (political arm of the communists. NPA is the military arm). Sison was quoted as saying that Duterte promised him that with Duterte as President, one foot of the NPA is already inside Malacanang Palace’s door. To me, the fact that the NDF-NPA found it necessary to deny endorsing any candidate is confirmation of the connection with the communists.

It is an open secret and, in fact, Duterte has boasted that he has allowed the Davao Death Squad (DDS) to operate in Davao City where he was long-time Mayor and even boasted that he has done some of the actual executions of those perceived or adjudged by them as criminals, including children. Indeed, Davao has been largely crime-free because of such human rights violations. If memory serves, about 1500 or so executions have been attributed to the DDS.

Aquino is not only incompetent but vindictive and has pursued political enemeies while coddling cronies.
5. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., who belongs to another political party (Pres. And VP are voted separately in the Philippines) is the VP frontrunner. What does a Duterte-Marcos tandem mean? With the deafening silence of the military and the national police at Duterte’s communist connections, it can only mean one thing – there will be a Marcos Presidency soon enough because Duterte’s communist connections will give the perfect excuse for the armed forces to mount a coup and the VP will then ascend to the Presidency. This was what happened to the predecessor of Aquino, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, the VP of Joseph Estrada who was deposed in a people power revolt.
6. The big question is that even with automatic vote counting machines – and there are numerous questions about their reliability and could easily be manipulated to show whatever results that have nothing to do with the ballots cast and deposited within the machines – it is too early to declare Duterte as the winner. It should at least be a week!
7. It is inconceivable that Roxas, the candidate of Aquino, would even garner second place though he has used all the government’s resources (money and personnel) available to him. He is the epitome of incompetence that has been one of the main factors why the people are fed up. His last appointment as Secretary of Interior and Local Government is mainly in charge of the national police forces. And with crime at all-time highs … Indeed this is very troubling news.8. How did this happen? Grace Poe-Llamanzares is another presidential candidate. Unfortunately, if information about her husband’s connections are validated, he has been caught in lie after lie, I suspect – CIA-backed. Meanwhile, my choice, Jojo Binay, current VP and one of the Presidential candidates, is known for his competence. Binay believes in the rule of law, and founded one of the lawyers’ groups that fought the martial law regime of Marcos before Mr. Binay became himself a political prisoner. This good man’s ratings went down because he had been tarred and feathered through incessant political demolition and black propaganda with eye-popping tales of corruption.. These charges were unproven despite being been constantly hounded by Aquino for the past 6 years using all the resources of government.
9. If Duterte wins, Aquino has inadvertently created a monster that he will not be able to control. Duterte has promised to eradicate corruption within 3-6 months of his Presidency. How can crime be eradicated by someone who is himself a criminal or justice dispensed by someone who has no respect for the rule for law?
