The parents of Georgia school shooter Colt Gray, who killed 4 people and wounded 7 others, aren’t pillars of the community; but at least his mother, Marcee Gray, tried to warn the school about her son, and now she’s apologizing for what he did.
“To the parents and families of those affected by the tragic events at Apalachee High School, I want to say that I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart,” she wrote in a letter.
But it also became a bit self-serving when she said, “My son Colt is not a monster. He is my oldest baby. He is quiet, thoughtful, caring, funny, and extremely intelligent. Please pray for him and the rest of our family ….” (Read story here.)
Sorry, ma’am, but your baby is a monster. All mass shooters are monsters. Anyone who takes innocent lives because of their inner demons is a monster. I’m okay with the praying part, I feel for you and can’t imagine your pain, and I appreciate your remorse.
But your kid is a monster, and you must come to grips with that, because he will spend the rest of his life in a cage. His father, who gave your son the gun despite his mental problems, also deserves to be locked up. The victims are gone forever, your family put them in their graves, and now you have no family.
