North Korea Extols Wild Apples


Pyongyang, March 2 (KCNA) — Wild apples, one of perennial plants, can be easily gathered from mountains, hills and fields in Korea in early spring.
From olden times, the Korean people have liked to take wild apples as it contains various kinds of vitamins, protein, sugar and minerals.In this regard, KCNA had an interview with Prof. and Dr. Kim Jong Il at the Academy of Koryo Medicine.He said:

With sweat and spicy tastes, wild apple improves appetite, while giving good effect on avitaminosis people are liable to suffer in early spring.

It also helps remedy women’s diseases and energize men.

The traditional Korean medicine discovered that wild appleinvigorates the function of spleen and kidney, prevents anemin, increases vigor and strength, inhibits growth of cancer cells and relieves engorgement.
