The AVE Scene: Arts on Campus

Morning Serial: Webcomics Come to the Table. March 3-June 30. Webcomics are at once part of the evolution of independent comics art and a continuation of the anti-establishment comics of the 1960s and 1990s ‘zine culture. Web artists act as their own editors and publishers, experimenting with digital tools and narrative structures to create and distribute comics freed from the printed page. The exhibit, in the Henry Art Gallery lobby, organized by UW Museology Masters candidate Sarra Scherb, is a focused selection showing the possibilities unique to webcomics. Free with Henry admission.
