Robert Sanford (photo, left), 57, a retired fireman from Boothwyn, Pennyslvania, was sentenced to 52 months in prison for injuring two police officers with a fire extinguisher during the Jan. 6, 2021, riot (see video below, and read story here).
That’s longer than most people need to complete a college degree, so maybe he should improve himself while in there. (I admit this makes generous assumptions about his brainpower.)
As for the company Sanford kept that day, he’s a Trumper, of course; but also, he went to Washington D.C. with a group sponsored by Turning Point USA, whose founder Charlie Kirk said a few days ago that gun owners’ rights are “worth” the innocent lives lost to mass shootings and gun violence (see story here). I don’t think that needs any comment.
