Massacres in Indian Country .. same as the West Bank?

Beit HoronA few says ago, an Israeli woman was viciously killed in her home in a settlement at Beit Horon. This map makes me think of similar stories from the American frontier of Comanche, Apache, Lakota, Puyallup  massacres of American pioneers. Indian injun massacre  Even here in Seattle, Chief Leschi was tried in absentia as a terrorist.  The Chief was  caught and then hung after the patriotic Indian led a raid on Seattle killing a marine.

How is the West Bank/Palestine different from the American West?

The Palestinians play occupation. And when they get tired of playing they go back home to Egypt etc. The American Indian was home . The Palestinians were offered a home state and refused. The American Indian was rounded up and herded to land the was thought to be unlivable until as the case of Oklahoma oil was found , or Arizona,et al gold was present. I believe most Jews are willing ti live without malice. Not so with the religion of death.

    Cecil.

You need to understand American history a lot better. The “indians” you talk about were sovereign nations, in some cases with governments that were very advanced .. eg the Iroquois,Cherokee and Comanche. The American Settlers, like the Israeli settlers, were invaders. When the tribes fought back the military might of the US protected the settlers much as in Israel today.

The claims in the media of the 1800s were much like what we read today .. indian massacres and atrocities were written about.

Yes Indians, like the Arabs of Palestine/Jordan were offered peace. Those offers were never sncere and. as you wrote, were abrogated as soon as it became in the interets of the settler. You ight rerad about Andrew Jackson and the Indian expulsion from the Carolinas.

Yes, as you say, the Arabs were offered many oportunites for peace and they failed to take those opportunties. The Arans werer and are antisemities. That does not make the current reaity of ocupation and easier.
