White cop indicted for killing black motorist

A University of Cincinatti patrol officer who shot a black motorist in the head 10 days ago has been indicted for murder. The prosecutor said Officer Ray Tensing “should never have been a police officer” and “purposely killed” Samuel DuBose. Tensing claimed DuBose dragged him and tried to run over him, but the dashcam video shows DuBose’s car wasn’t moving when Tensing shot him in the head at point-blank range from a position just outside the driver’s side window.

Tensing pulled over DuBose for a missing front license plate. When Tensing asked DuBose for his driver’s license, DuBose gave him a runaround, and it appears he was fixing to drive off when Tensing shot him. However, DuBose was not run over or dragged when the car, with DuBose slumped dead over the wheel, traveled about a half a block before crashing into a tree.
