CREATIONISM …CLIMATE DENIAL .. FAITH HEALING .. GMO fear … EBOLA PANIC ..VACCINE PANIC ..HEALTH FOOD FADSMaybe not all of this is the problem of the repugnant Republicans but they are dominant. Luddites and scientific deniers have Fox News and their own theme parks. These rogue elephants are making a mess of our public policy so much so that scientific deniers now hold the chairs of the science committees in the House and Senate.
It is time to bring back the word … BLASPHEMY.
It is ironic that while demonizing all of Islam for being cruel to those who blaspheme against the Quran, these Repugnant Republicans resemble the radical Muslims of ISIS, Pakistan or Saudi Arabia more than they resemble Salman Rushdie or the 100s of millions of good Muslims living in Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, Turkey or here. These self righteous radical Republicans can not see the perversion THEY have brought to Christianity.
I will go beyond that bad mouthing these politicians. Prior to Newton, LePlace, Darwin, and Einstein, society controlled intellectual dissent by making disagreement with truth a crime … blasphemy. The weird thing about today is that we no longer treat refusal to accept the real, scientific truth as blasphemy. The harm done by Republican disbelieves is far worse than the harm done by the dissidents Christians once burned at the stake.
