Please join us for a very special evening with and for a very special man, AndyRoyer. Andy has been diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer and has been and iscurrently undergoing chemotherapy. In an effort to raise funds to help pay for his treatment as well as to share what Andy calls the “great gifts of cancer”, his family is orchestrating a silent-auction fundraiser. The event is called “Ride the Curve” in response to Andy’s love of riding a motorcycle as well as the lessons learned while leaning into a curve on two wheels.“If you stare at the ground or off at some other point, that may well be where you end up,” says Andy. “If we maintain focus on the point where we want to be at the end of the curve, we are better suited to hold a line and end up exactly where we want.”

Andy, who has been pronounced terminally ill by his oncologists, says that people too often focus on the negative aspects of cancer and chemotherapy. He insists that there are plenty of bright moments to be found after diagnosis.

“Many of us know from personal experience or stories how devastating cancer can be but, if there are two sides to every coin, then what is the upside of cancer? Many patients whom I’ve met with tell me that they are actually glad to have gotten cancer. They tell me that through their diagnosis and treatment they have grown closer to the things that are most important to them in life. That they’ve learned to let the little stuff slide and to focus on what is truly meaningful to them.”This beautiful flyer contains all the details on the Silent-Auction Fundraiser. Can't wait to see you all! Please share this fine event with all your friends. The more the merrier!

We’ll have a ton of great auction items, food, drink, music by Sarah Christine, and three wonderful speakers; Andy, and two professionals, Michael Mead and David James Duncan.

Some of our auction items (listed below on this page) include paintings created by Andy’s partner, Candise while she sat with him during his chemo sessions, photography from around the world, bamboo fly-rods, reels, weekend getaways, a river float trip on the Yellowstone River, a guided fishing trip on the Olympic Peninsula, glass artwork, custom clothing, dinner for 4 from a local chef, lots of heath and wellness offerings including massage, acupuncture, tai chi or qigong classes, certificates from loads of Seattle area establishments and much more!

Please forward this event to your friends and encourage them to do the same. The more the merrier!

With Much Love and Gratitude!
