For ALL of us, the meeting at Seattle First Baptist is very important. This IS the District that represents the UW. Representative Chopp is Speaker of the House and a very powerful politician with little knowledge of the UW other than what he has gotten from Presidents Emmert and Wise. Senator Murry is a very up and coming politician you may see running for a major office in the near future.I also like Rep. Carlyle but so far he does not seem to be attending a meeting.
