On the same day Oath Keeper honchos Stewart Rhodes and Kelly Meggs were sentenced to 18 and 12 years in prison (see stories here and here), Jacob Chansley, the s0-called “QAnon Shaman,” was released from a halfway house (see story here).
Chansley (photo, left), a full-time protester before Jan. 6 (see details here), was kept in jail after his arrest but drew a shorter sentence (41 months) and got a 14-month early release.
Why? I dunno. Maybe they wanted to make room in the pond for bigger fish.
