Only 32 whole T-Rex skeletons exist in the entire world, and the last two to be auctioned sold for $8.7 million in 1997 (photo, left) and $31.8 million in 2020.
A T-Rex skeleton named “Trinity,” actually the bones of three creatures, will be auctioned in Switzerland on April 19, 2023 (see story here).
All three of those T-Rexes were dug up in Montana and Wyoming, a place where you didn’t want to be a lawyer 60 million years ago.
