Serial liar George Santos, who won a U.S. House seat last year under false pretenses, now claims he was the target of an assassination attempt.
He also claims he “was the victim of a mugging in New York City in the summer of 2021,” The Hill says (read story here). Now that part is believable. Doesn’t everybody get mugged in NYC?
So what should authorities do about the supposed attempt on this prevaricator’s life? I can tell you what they probably will do: Treat it as another fabrication. And if the wolf finally shows up at his door, a lot of people may go, “Good eating, wolf!”
