A 12-year-old boy armed with a handgun robbed a Michigan gas station on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.
The boy pulled the gun from a backpack, pointed it at the clerk, and said, “Put the money in the bag.” When the clerk asked if he was serious, the boy pulled the trigger and fired a round into the ceiling. He made off with several thousand dollars, but was arrested a few blocks away.
“The firearm had been taken from the safe of the boy’s guardian,” a local newspaper reported. Read about this crime here and watch video below.

My opinion? If you can’t make it impossible for kids to get guns, at least make it harder.
