John R. Bennett, an Oklahoma pastor (photo, left; bio here), told a cheering crowd of Republicans that Dr. Anthony Fauci should be shot.
Bennett previously has said Hillary Clinton should be shot, and has called Oklahoma state agencies “terrorists” simply for pointing out that budget cuts would lead to service cuts. He ha also called Democrats “communists” and spewed anti-Muslim hate.
He’s crazy (seriously, I mean mentally ill), and wouldn’t be worth writing about if he were living in a homeless camp, shooting up heroin, and screaming his rage on street corners.
The problem is people in Oklahoma vote for him. He’s a former state legislator, currently chairs the Oklahoma Republican Party, and is running for Congress (read story and watch embedded video here). Which means they’re crazy, too.
Avoid Oklahoma. It’s not a safe place to be. Oh, and by the way, there’s nothing Christian about this preacher; Jesus would be appalled.
