Trump issues threat to Putin

Trump claims Putin invaded Ukraine because Biden is “weak,” Huffington Post notes (see this story here).

So how would he deal with Putin? Like this, he says: “Sending American nuclear submarine patrols into Russian waters” to threaten him. (See that story here). Uh, okey-dokey.

Oh, and he also “described nuclear weaponry as ‘the n-word… the nuclear word.’” Yeah, well, that’s Trump. (Click on image to activate response.)

Trump, you will recall, withheld military aid from Ukraine to coerce that country to launch a baseless criminal investigation of Biden; that’s what he was impeached for the first time. (His second impeachment, of course, was for inciting the Capitol insurrection after losing to Biden.)

As for his claim to be a defender of Ukraine, Trump’s own ex-national security adviser, John Bolton, who’s as hawkish as they come, has said Trump would’ve pulled the U.S. out of NATO if he’d been reelected (see that story here). That’s not defending anybody or anything.

Trump may be right about one thing, though: There probably would’ve been no invasion if he were still in charge. Putin wouldn’t have needed to. Trump would have given him Ukraine, and also the rest of eastern Europe.
