Trump has canceled a scheduled January 6 press conference at Mar-a-Lago at which he “reportedly planned to defend the rioters,” CNN reports (story here). Instead, he plans to address that “topic” at a January 15 Arizona rally.
“Trump in recent months has defended rioters who had chanted about hanging then-Vice President Mike Pence,” CNN said, and canceled Thursday’s event because of “the total bias and dishonesty” of the media and the Democrats’ House investigation of the Jan. 6 attack.
The media is doing their job, which is to report news objectively, not spread his propaganda. And if Trump praises the rioters, he’s a sick-in-the-head puppy. So is anyone who praises or endorses that assault on our democracy. The Republicans trying to sweep it under the rug? I’d call them cowards.
