How to get your bail revoked in one easy step

“An accused Capitol rioter’s bail was revoked by a judge on Thursday after allegedly leaving lewd and rambling voicemails for his probation officer,” The Hill reported on Thursday, July 15, 2021. Read story here.

The probation officer testified that Brandon Fellows, 27, who is under felony indictment for his role in the Jan. 6 insurrection (read more about him and what he did to get himself indicted here; read about his post-riot, post-indictment dating troubles here), “repeatedly made sexual innuendos and left her long rambling voicemails” while out on bail. In one of the voicemails, she said, he discussed “the size of his genitalia and the performance of his genitalia.”

Sounds like he was trying to get a date.

“I tried really hard to avoid having to lock you up,” the judge said. It does seem he’s worked hard to convince judges to lock him up.

Maybe this joint-smoking domestic terrorist is just trying to build a case for an insanity plea; if so, it appears to have backfired. Then again, maybe he really is nuts.
