Marketers working for Coca Cola thought they could sell more flavored fizzy water by letting “customers write short messages on custom Coke bottles.”

Photo: Remember when they messed with the formula, too?
As long as “Pepsi matters.” Pepsi Nation,” “Try a Pepsi, or even “RC rocks with a moonpie!” did not get through then the algorithm worked. After all the important speech on the bottle is “Coca Cola.” (American colonialism at work!)
What does colonialism have to do with it?
