“Owners of a New Jersey [gym] are offering free memberships to people who don’t get the COVID-19 vaccine,” The Hill reported on Thursday, March 25, 2021. Read story here. The way I see it, this will reduce their sales to zero, because anti-vaxxers won’t pay, and people worried about getting Covid-19 won’t go near the place. It may be a clever plot to keep the state from collecting the $1.2 million of fines they’ve racked up (read that story here). Or maybe it’s not clever, just a stupid way to run a business.
