Tim Boyd, ex-mayor of Colorado City, Texas, apparently believes a working electricity grid is “socialism.” By popular demand, he vacated the mayor’s after blasting his “lazy” constituents with the breath of cold air below (story here). He’s reportedly in hiding; I’ll post a better surveillance photo if I get one.

His generator doesn’t work if it runs on natural gas. If you live in Texas, or north of Seattle in PSE’s service area, what you should do is install a full-house backup generator that runs off a propane tank.
