QAnon gunmen arrested at Philly ballot site

Police arrested two gunmen armed outside the Pennsylvania Convention Center, where election workers are counting mail-in ballots, after being tipped off about a plot to attack the center, Huffington Post and the Philadelphia Inquirer reported on Friday, November 6, 2020.

“They were arrested after police were tipped that armed men driving a silver Hummer SUV were heading to the convention center,” Huffington Post said. Two bicycle cops spotted an unoccupied Hummer matching the description of the suspects’ vehicle outside the convention center and found the two armed men nearby. A third gun was recovered from the vehicle, which “displayed QAnon stickers” (visible in the photo below).

The gunmen, who had traveled from Virginia, “were suspected of recently purchasing large amounts of ammo,” the Inquirer said. They were arrested for not having Pennsylvania gun permits and could face additional charges. The FBI is involved in the investigation.
