A man upset about his neighbors letting their dogs run loose unleashed his fury in a shooting spree at three different homes that left a total of 3 people dead and 2 wounded in Dayton, Texas, a town of about 7,400 people located 50 miles northeast of Houston, on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020. The man also shot a dog.
An armed suspect, Michael Wettstein, 60, was found hiding in woods with a swastika drawn on his forehead. He’s in jail on murder and other felony charges. Read story here. All criminal suspects are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
Texas has lax gun laws; and, apparently, some very touchy people. Doesn’t seem like a good combination.
