BREAKING — Trump pardons vote fraudster!

“She was never pardoned — for voting. She was guilty for voting. And we are going to be signing a full and complete pardon, and I think that’s really fantastic.” — President Trump, Aug. 18, 2020

The defendant was convicted in 1873 for voting illegally in the 1872 presidential election. Read about the trial here, the pardon here, and defendant’s bio here.

Following a trial in which the defendant wasn’t allowed to speak, and the judge directed a guilty verdict, the defendant vociferously condemned “this high-handed outrage upon my citizen’s rights”, telling the judge, “you have trampled under foot every vital principle of our government. My natural rights, my civil rights, my political rights, my judicial rights, are all alike ignored,” and refused to pay the fine. That $100 is no longer owed.
