I doubt law enforcement is all that supportive of medical masks as it masks faces making people harder to identify. One of the reasons highway men of yor wore masks. Why the shipments were seized and how the government knew what packages to seize is a mystery considering in a true terrorist situation one or more packages would be allowed to go through to see who picks them up.
The police will continue killing white, brown, yellow, black and green people. It is part of protect and serve and is inevitable that there will be tragedies. Good old hubris guarantees it. or other consequences. Stopping the police from using choke holds or demanding all officers regardless of rank jump in when they think another is violating in some way may or may not be good policy, but it certainly is a feel good political move by politicians. Rather like having to take your shoes off at ir ports, seizing grandmas wheel chair at the airport, seizing all pen knives, ect Are you more secure with all those Homeland Security measures? Really safer? Or could just a few things like a steel locked door between pilots and passengers and a much more limited approach been sufficient, saved tax dollars, and kept our airports open to the public. How many terrorist plots involving airliners have been prevented? At what cost?
