Chickenhawk math: They lose 150 million people. We lose only 20 million people. We win.

    Using cold war math those numbers could have been loses with just conventional arms. Those numbers would be a win in strategic warfare. It is rare when nations actually sustain truly astounding losses in war as it takes unique conditions where nations fight to even 50% population loss. Still Paraguay and Uruguay managed to have a war with those kind of losses. someone won sort of. At least until the next soccer match.
