Scott Wagner, the GOP nominee for Pennsylvania governor and a state senator, reacted angrily to a billboard (see photo) put up by an independent group by threatening his Democratic opponent — who had nothing to do with the billboard — with physical harm.
The billboard mildly criticizes Wagner, who owns a trash hauling company, for suing customers who can’t pay their bills. Wagner went beyond defending the practice when he posted a personal threat against Gov. Tom Wolf in a Facebook Live video, but probably doesn’t have much to lose, because polling indicates Wolf is the strong favorite to win in November. Read story here.
