In Portland, Oregon, a known white supremacist with a prison record for violent crimes that include kidnapping and armed robbery and a fondness for giving Hitler salutes at public rallies has stabbed two men to death and wounded a third because they intervened against his verbal abuse of two Muslim women riding on Portland’s light rail train. His mother, told of what he’d done, described her son as “a nice person.” Read the story here.
