Anyone with more information on this report byTaiwan Central News Agency republished by KBS?: “The report said that Pyongyang is demanding China ensure the North’s security and economic gain and give a period of three years to abandon nuclear weapons.

However, Beijing is reportedly asking the North to dismantle nuclear weapons within three months and to accept the offer within two to three weeks.”

Charles Park First article says US has cut all diplomatic ties so China and NK are in secret negotiations. The second article contradicts that by saying US and NK are in secret negotiations. One does not mention the other news. Both are from KBS.

Yi Quan From what i heard in Chinese media, the China’s special representative for Korean Peninsula affairs, Wu Dawei requested to meet North Korea counterparts to discuss recent issue, but the request was rejected by North Korea. so Wu Dawei didn’t get to visit Pyongyang. therefore no meeting nor negotiation between China and North Korea

Charles Park We are in no position to know. It sounds like rumors and they must be taken as one until they have more factual footing… It could also be wishful thing. Anyway, even if true, it won’t work.
