All this guy was doing when cops stopped him was riding a bicycle. (And wearing a hoodie, which the cops said “fits the profile.”) All he did after they stopped him was try to call his sister on his cellphone. (Because he thought something bad was going to happen.) What followed was a brutal and violent takedown. Yes, he’s a minority. (Hispanic.) This happened in Arizona, where Hispanics are routinely profiled by police. This won’t change as long as our society continues to coddle cop bullies.
