For the record her political party does call itself “Trotskyist” .. as in Leon Trotsky, the general of Lenin’s Red Army who conducted mass murder and purges of people the Party found guilty of capitalism .. peasants (Kulaks) who owned a bit of land, storekeepers, and so on.
I suspect Sawant does not mean all this but what sort of candidate says such things?
