KEEP VERY CALM

Actually that is the proportion (based on THEIR) population of Saudis just arrested for collusion wth ISIS.  Last Saturday in Riyahd,  Saudi Arabia announced it has broken up planned Islamic State attacks in the kingdom and arrested more than 400 suspects in an anti-terrorism sweep, a day after a powerful blast in neighboring Iraq killed more than 100 people in one of the country’s deadliest single attacks since U.S. troops pulled out in 2011.  Presumably we have a lot fewer radical islamists here.

OF COURSE THAT CAN NOT HAPPEN HERE?  Sadly, we probable do have a sizable community of islamic radicals here.  The underlying ideology of ISIS comes from the Wahabi and more sever Salafi branches of Islam.  That same philosophy is the official religion of Saudi Arabia and the religious basis for the Saud family’s claim to royalty.

As a result, Wabi-ism has been taught for decades in Saudi financed mosques and Islamic Centers across the world. After 9/11 there was some effort to restrainn this but it has never been publicly discussed in the way we would for any other dangerous philosophy.  z

AM I AFRAID?  Yes a bit.  I assume most mulsims I meet are good folks.  However, I would feel a lot better if their community would send the beleivers in Salafism into cherem.
