An ACLU lawsuit on behalf of Lateef Dickerson and a federal judge’s order compelled the Dover, Delaware police department to release this police dashcam video after two years of stonewalling, and the release of the video resulted in a second grand jury indicting Dover police officer Thomas Webster for assault last week, after a first grand jury declined to do so last year. The cop’s lawyer claims the charges are “politically motivated.” (From a Washington Post story.)
