The minister, known for being a prosperity preacher at his Atlanta-area World Changers Church International, is seeking ‘200,000 people committed to sow $300 or more … to assist us in acquiring a Gulfstream G650,”‘ CNN reports. “Prosperity gospel is a theology that promises wealth and health to those 
who tithe 10% of their income to the church.” According to Wikipedia, Ministry Watch gave Dollar’s ministry a grade of “F” for financial transparency, but you can donate to Rev. Dollar’s jet fund or legal defense fund (he was arrested for choking his daughter) here, if you’re so inclined. The G650 is Gulfstream’s top-of-the-line business jet; typical purchasers include major corporations, heads of state, Middle East oil sheiks, televangelists, and billionaires. Gulfstream is a subsidiary of defense contractor General Dynamics, which makes F-16 fighters and nuclear submarines, among other products.
P.S., If Jesus had incorporated and done an IPO, after 2,000 years of compounded capital gains and reinvested dividends, He’d be sitting on the mother of all holy roller fortunes now.
