San Diego PD punishes black cop for complaining about racist training materials

In San Diego, a black police officer was passed over for promotion, pressured into taking an undesirable transfer, and threatened with disciplinary action for making “frivolous allegations of misconduct.”

The “frivolous allegation” refers to his complaint about a racist cartoon used for police training. The training officer he complained about is a friend of SDPD’s assistant chief

Sgt. Arthur Scott, 43, a 10-year veteran of SDPD, sued the csan-diego-police-racist-cartoonity last week for racial discrimination.
