Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI) told CNN today that releasing a Senate report on CIA torture is a “terrible idea” because it’s likely to provoke a violent backlash in foreign countries if they find out what our last Republican administration did to their fellow citizens. Former CIA torturers also oppose letting the American citizens who paid their salaries find out what they did on the job.
