Rookie Cop Who Killed 12-Year-Old Was Fired From Previous Police Job

The rookie cop who killed a 12-year-old boy last weekend quit his previous police job for “personal reasons” after only 5 months while in the process of being fired, according to a Cleveland TV station, which we all understand is an effective termination. His former supervisors described him as “weepy and distracted,” questioned his maturity, and said he failed to follow orders during firearms training.

So why did the Cleveland Police Department hire this guy? Even if the previous employer kept his personnel history confidential, wouldn’t an employment stint lasting only 5 months raise a red flag? And how did a person with those characteristics make it through the hiring process and training? It appears the Cleveland PD negligently hired an incompetent, sent him to the streets with a badge and gun, and now a kid is dead.

But don’t hold your breath waiting for a grand jury indictment in this case, either. America has given its cops a license to kill. Literally.Roger-Rabbit-icon1
