Actually they got way more than that, they got the money saved up for a once a month shipment of US dollars to family in Mexico. I also know a farmer here in Texas that had a lot of Mexican workers, when he went on vacation they did not milk his cows and the cows got mastitis so he installed cameras so he would know who was not doing their job the next time he went on vacation. Only that time when he was gone they stole the cameras and sold them. Then they quit. His cows did not get milked again.
