The Daily Beast is Calling for a Boycott
After using the 2104 Olympics as an excuse to invade Crimea, Putin’s Russia is now set for 2108 to host the World Cup. Following the mess in Brazil and the scandals about Qatar, the image of Moscow as a host for THE most popular world game is abhorrent.
This is a perfect opportunity to apply real economic pressure over the annexation of Crimea.
It would also be a great 2016 US campaign issue!
