We got some great news last weekend, and I wanted to make sure to share it with you. Rasmussen, a national Republican leaning polling firm, released a poll on Sunday that puts this race within 7 points. The results showed that currently 47% of likely voters in November support Ricketts, while 40% support me. This single-digit lead is well under the double-digit registration advantage that Republicans hold — 50% of registered voters in Nebraska are Republicans, while 30% are Democrats. (If you’d like to read more about the poll, click here). With a 4% margin of error on the poll and a few extra points for being a Republican leaning firm, that puts this race neck-in-neck. Voters have made up their minds about Ricketts — not favorably. The opportunity for me to win this race is greater now than ever, and the momentum is on our side.
