Is GET a Ponzi scheme?
Who knows? Who cares? The real issue is what to do about a leader who undermines his organization. Suppose General Eisenhower had said, “This invasion can’t possibly succeed”? Or Alan Mullaly, upon being named CEO of Ford, said, “Let’s file for bankruptcy”? Or a heart surgeon, before wheeling you into the operating room, says, “Just in case, I’ve sent for a priest”? What would you do? I can’t speak for you, but I would FIRE HIS ASS!!! The U.W. regents shouldn’t wait for 250,000 pissed-off Washington families to demand U.W. President Mike Young’s head on a platter for calling GET “a Ponzi scheme.” They should do the obvious and replace this Doubting Thomas with someone who can get the job of educating their kids with the available resources done.
