This is Thanksgiving week but two weeks ago The Ave ran a post about a Proverb that describes humans as leeches.
The saddest part of this is that human leeches hurt others while they feed their insatiable hunger.
Look at corporate denial of global warming. I doubt the Kochs (who fund a LOT f good science at MIT) are unaware of the harm they did today in the Philippines.
Look at Faux, does anyone think that Sean Hannity believes in the alternative reality he spouts or cares what it will means for his own children?
Read last week’s Stranger where Dominic Holden spews all the reasons McGinn was a failed mayor … after working hard to deprive the Seattle Times of a rare credit for endorsing a good candidate.
Politics is probably not as leech like as business. Look at the nuclear war Amazon continues to carry out toward real world book stores. Does Bezos really believe killing off Elliot Bay Books Store will make him wealthier? (FWIW I would wish Amazon could kill of Barnes and Nobel but THAT leech has taken over most of the college book stores in the US!!)
I could go on and on but my own family is afflicted with this problem. What leech can compare with a family feud over a father’s leavings?
You are a pathetic excuse for a human being. I don’t care about your family feud, but think your continued ruminating on it can’t in any way lead to a reconciliation. Come to think of it, you really don’t want a reconciliation, do you?
