Boeing workers reject plan linked to 777X in Wash.
SEATTLE (AP) – Despite warnings that production of Boeing’s next generation 777 plane could go to another state, machinists in the Northwest voted to reject a contract proposal late Wednesday that would have exchanged concessions for decades of secure jobs. In response, the Boeing Co. said it would begin a bid process to find a home for its 777X production line.
Where might this be? My suspicion is South Carolina where the Tea Party rules and the state still celebrates the stars and bars. Oh Yeh, the state laws block Boeing SC from a need to deal with a union .
Is moving Boeing to this place any better than moving it to China?
