Davey Jones and conspiracy theories on the high seas

Davey Jones06-09.4N and 090-36.7E

Once more I seem to be remiss in my letters to you, I had intended to write
before, but something seems to always interfere.

A large part of the reason was that the 2nd engineer quit in Jebal Ali,
causing us to sail short for Singapore, we did find a suitable replacement
once there, but then the 2nd mate left, he went to a doctor and got a letter
saying he was unfit for work, but he was one step ahead of being fired. So
we will sail short for Sri lanka, but that’s deck gang and doesn’t affect
me.

We arrived in Singapore a day late, so we raced to get out early, I never
made it ashore there (yes once more I have failed to photograph the Lion
City for you) we did bunker, and did completely off-load and back-load, and
did get out back on schedule.

We took two bunker barges in Singapore, after the first one left, myself,
the 3rd engineer and the Chief Engineer were waiting for the second, the
barge arrived and the 2nd mate radioed, “the bunker barge Vi Ta Laty is
coming along side” The AB on watch then said over the radio, “another way of
saying Vi Ta Laty, is Vitality,” this became the running joke for the next
22 hours of bunkering.

Upon leaving the ship the 2nd mate tried to smuggle four cartons of
cigarettes through Singaporean customs, the Old-man said over the radio,
“Good! I hope they throw his fucking ass in jail.”
They didn’t throw him in jail, and last I heard, he made is flight for parts
un-known (to me anyway)

Before leaving the 2nd mate did tell me about “0” point energy, aliens, and
of course claimed this was all proven by Tesla, then he went to the
international banking conspiracy carried out by the Rothschild’s, the
Rockefellers and the Chase’s, and of course (wait for it) The protocols of
The Elders of Zion, (sigh will that crap ever go away?)

I told the idiot that 0 point energy was a myth, that perpetual motion
machines do not and will never exist, while Tesla was brilliant, he was also
insane, and that the Protocols of The Elders of Zion was a fake, and a
dangerous one at that, he of course failed to believe me.

Other than the above nonsense, things have been somewhat quiet, the line
shaft generator seems to not want to maintain its frequency, but it seems to
be something in the electronics.

I hope that you and your family are well.
